Unit 1: Numbers from 1 up to 5 In this unit, learners will develop basic number skills through practical activities involving counting, reading, writing, comparing, arranging, addition and subtraction of numbers from 1 up to 5. Learners will practise counting objects, identifying and writing numbers, matching objects with numbers, comparing quantities using and =, and arranging numbers from the smallest to the biggest. They will also learn simple addition and subtraction using concrete objects and everyday situations. The unit concludes with an End Unit Assessment to check learners' understanding of the concepts and skills developed throughout the unit.
